In 2021, I started an anti-inflammatory diet to reduce menstrual pain and rebalance hormones to have a healthy period. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), adenomyosis and endometriosis. The physician wanted to remove my uterus and one ovary to avoid having intense pain.
Since then, I embarked on a journey to take health into my own hands and explored other alternatives, including functional nutrition, medical herbalism, conventional medicine, acupuncture and Ayurveda.
On the Calêndula website, you can find my recipes, recipes from others, and my notes about cosmetics and health information. The website is still being updated and active.
